Blue Blue Blue Skies in Phuket

It doesn't come any better than this! Weather is hot, skies are blue and high season is here! We suddenly seem to have got busy at the dive shop in the last few days. The switch has been flicked. Weather is absolutely ideal for diving - no wind, calm seas, sunny skies. I gotta get out on the water!

The lack of wind and the heat do combine to create brief thunderstorms at this time of year. The northeast winds are not here yet, so the heat builds up and a bit of afternoon or evening rain is not uncommon. I have hardly noticed today - the dive season is well and truly underway - hope to see you here soon for some diving! Yesterday was a day off, and what a day! I'd been contacted by Destination Air to write about their seaplane flights to Phi Phi, and I managed to get a place on a flight yesterday for the whole family :) What a day! Weather looked a bit cloudy in the morning, but the afternoon was fantastic. You can read more here:
