Sunny May in Phuket

The weather has been so good the last few days, and yet there's hardly anyone here to enjoy it. Listen up, listen well. This is The Phuket Weather Blog. The truth lies within. Listen not to doomsayers, Phuket is great any time of year! Yes, so we might get some rain in May, we have had some rain, but so we did in March, and so we did in December. The summer approaches and believe me, the weather is often like today - hot, sunny, calm seas.. and with the bonus of cheap off season hotel prices!

I feel poetic, but will let a better (albeit long dead) man speak:

On Sunday, a beautiful day, and a day off. Three generations of the Monk family went out for the day, finding lunch at Nai Yang Beach at a little restaurant called Batik Seafood, right on the beach. Very very relaxing, tasty food and fun in the sea for the kids!



I've been working the last 2 days, but will have a holiday starting Saturday. Hope the current weather holds. The office is a prison on a sunny day! The forecasts have it all wrong again. Right now: sunny and hot. The BBC forecast says "Tuesday: heavy rain shower". Incorrect. The Phuket Weather Blog says "SUNNY".
