Sunday 28th - The red skies of Saturday night gave a clue as to the weather for Sunday, and a shepherd's delight it certainly was. Started fresh and clear, got progressively warmer, and indeed was rather toasty by lunchtime as we walked around
Phuket Zoo. Some clouds started to appear in the afternoon, making for perfect sitting-by-the-pool-with-a-beer weather. Warm but not sunburn weather. Photo taken at
Bang Pae Seafood, a restaurant by the mangroves on the east coast of Phuket. The land in the background is
Koh Yao.
Monday 29th - Yesterday afternoons clouds were a sign. The weather at this time of year is very changeable. You'll get a couple of nice days, a couple of wet days. Normally the wet days are not too wet. This morning started wet. Dark clouds over the hills, but it was dry in Patong and is now (9am) bright and warm.
